All of our Doctors are able to provide advice on Women’s health.  If you feel more comfortable with a female Doctor please indicate this when making a booking and we will do our best to accommodate you.

 

All our Doctors are qualified to perform Cervical Screening Tests (previously known as Pap smears), give contraceptive , menopause and family planning advice.

Dr Emily Ho and Dr Bernadette Kua are qualified to insert and remove IUD's (Mirena and Kylena). Several  doctors are trained to insert and remove the Implanon contraceptive device.

Some of our Doctors offered shared ante-natal care with Hornsby and Royal North Shore Hospitals.

It is recommended that several months before you plan to become pregnant you see your GP to discuss such issues as prenatal screening, rubella immunity, folic acid intake and your options for ante-natal care.
